"Trying Times" was recorded on the Concord Jazz label and mixed at Systems Two recording studio in Brooklyn, NYC by two-time Grammy Award-winning audio engineer Mike Marciano (2017-2018)
Additional mixing by Kerry Pompeo at Concord Music.

Additional recordings also took place at Absolute Recording Studios in Vienna, Austria (2017-2018) by audio engineer Heinz Kohlbauer. (Thou Swell; 500 Miles High)

The album was produced and arranged by acclaimed US-based jazz pianist Benito Gonzalez.
